Welcome
Welcome to Cocomo Islands. This site can offer you alot of things that are pointless but make life a little more enjoyable. There are alot of neat wallpapers and sounds if you go to the downloads section. There is also alot of other neat stuff here. You don't have to like Batman Beyond or Spiderman to be at this site. This site is just an all out fun site to be at and to be apart of.
StarWars Update
The first Star Wars Episode, Episode One: The Phantom Menace, is out on video. If you haven't got it, go to Wal-Mart, they'll have it. Anyways, now that the first video was a big success George Lucas is writing the sedond episode, he would have probably still would have been writing it even if the first one wasn't a big success, because George is loyal to those out there, I guess like me, that love StarWars. How far do you think they are on the second episode? Well, you'll find out. Here is the recent interview with Rick McCallum on the upcoming movie.
Rick McCallum said that he is working full time in Australia, that is where they are going to be shooting the movie. Right now George is still working on the script, but he gives the set people what kind of a scenary they need and they are working on that right now. George is to soon be done with the script, and they will start shooting the movie near the end of June. They will be shooting in the Fox Studios in Australia, near Sydney. After they are done there, which will be a long way off, they will go to Italy to finish shooting the movie. Right now, Robin Gurland, is finding actors for the movie, and it is a long list of people.
In the upcoming movie, George Lucas said that we are going to see why they call Yodah the Master, and that he is gonna be fighting with his lightsaber alot. This will bring more of a feel for Yodah's history, and it will help us know why Yodah gets so much respect. Boba Fett is also said to have a new and different look in the movie.
Other than that, they can't really tell us what else is going on, so we'll have to wait for the movie, which comes out in 2004. Come back next month for a new update on the movie.
New Script
Check out the script to the new Spider Man movie. It was written by James Cameron, and with this script you get a real good idea of what the movie is going to be about. I don't know if this is the exact script or if the directors are going to change the villians. I guess we'll see when the movie comes out.
Comics for Sale?
As an avid comic collector I strive to keep a complete collection of the comics I enjoy. There are a few bad things that come along with that though. Many times I will miss out on a comic because of one reason or another. So starting next month, you will be able to sell trade or buy comics from our website. If you have comics you want or want to sell, then email RoadKillHarry@juno.com with comics in the subject bar. Thankyou, and remember to never bring a dog to an island, they get lost easily.
The World of Wizard
If you like comics than it's a safe bet to say that you have heard of the magazine called Wizard. Many people, including myself, buy the magazine. I have heard many people say that the magazine is not as good as most people say it is. So, we decided to look at the pro.s and con.s at the mag. You might say, well that is a stupid question. But is it. There is no other magazine on the market that comes out with comics news monthly.
Wizard has a whole market to themselves. It may not even be a good magazine, but how can we determine since there is no other magazine out like it that we could compare it to.
It does have some pretty good news that most people wouldn't know about if it hadn't been for Wizard. Now one thing on the other hand, is that many people tend to disagree with Wizard's comic price guide. Although it does give you some what of an idea about prices,it still isn't all that good.
Now I'm starting to somewhat think that it is an okay mag. as long as you are not just buying it for there price guide. I mean, it is pretty funny.
So, is Wizard a good magazine? I guess I would tend to say yes. It could be better, but until some other magazine comes out, we don't really know how much better it could be.

Points to Ponder
The Matrix, a very good movie, took some of the qualities from Star Wars. Neo and the other humans that can bend the rules of the matrix, can do the same things a jedi can. Like doing extremely high flips and acrobatics like that. In essence I think that The Matrix is supposed to be the Star Wars film of the future.

Dear Readers,
This month by far has been the most productive for Cocomo Islands. We have completely changed around our site, and we have made it ( I think ) ten times better. We have more news than any other website on the web, and our website is easy to navigate around. So, as I begin to take off my socks for no reason what so ever I say, wheew, those feet stink.
